Po zajęciu ósmego miejsca, gdy po raz pierwszy wziął udział w konkursie w wieku 17 lat, pięć lat później, w 1995 roku, zdobył pierwsze miejsce, stając się ulubieńcem publiczności i prasy. Po wydaniu jego drugiego albumu z muzyką Chopina, napisano: „...człowiek czuje się zobowiązany pomyśleć, że właśnie tak grał Chopin” (O. Bellamy - le Monde de la Musique). Podczas jubileuszu „200-lecia urodzin Fryderyka Chopina” artysta został entuzjastycznie przyjęty we Francji, Hiszpanii, na Bliskim Wschodzie, w Japonii, Polsce i Skandynawii, gdzie zaprezentował program obejmujący pełne dzieła Chopina na fortepian i orkiestrę. Nagrania Philippe’a Giusiano, głównie z muzyką Fryderyka Chopina i Siergieja Rachmaninowa, spotkały się z szerokim uznaniem krytyków. Jego album z 24 Preludiami i 24 Etiudami Chopina odniósł światowy sukces. „Słuchanie tego pianisty w Chopinie to jak bycie świadkiem swoistej muzycznej genezy. Niezapomniane przeżycie!” (Mathias Heizmann – Arte). Jego album nagrany w 2017 roku dla Instytutu Fryderyka Chopina w Warszawie zawiera wczesne utwory Chopina. Oprócz kariery artystycznej, pianista regularnie prowadzi kursy mistrzowskie w Polsce i Japonii. W latach 2008–2020 był profesorem wizytującym w Heisei Music College w Kumamoto, Japonia. Był także członkiem jury na ważnych konkursach pianistycznych, w tym na II Międzynarodowym Konkursie Pianistycznym im. Fryderyka Chopina dla Młodych Pianistów w Pekinie w październiku 2019 roku oraz na XVIII Międzynarodowym Konkursie Pianistycznym im. Fryderyka Chopina w Warszawie w październiku 2021 roku.
W 2012 roku Philippe Giusiano został odznaczony Medalem Miasta Marsylii za zasługi dla życia kulturalnego swojego rodzinnego miasta, a w 2023 roku został uhonorowany tytułem Ambasadora Polskiej Kultury przez Polskę za promowanie polskiej muzyki i kultury na całym świecie.

prof.Philippe Giusiano is a French classical pianist and winner of the Thirteenth International Frederic Chopin Competition in Warsaw. He is regarded as an authority on the works of the Polish composer. After finishing in eighth place when he first entered the competition at the age of 17, he won first place five years later in 1995, becoming a favorite of both the public and the press. When his second Chopin album was released, the following was said: "One feels compelled to think that this is exactly how Chopin played it" (O. Bellamy – Le Monde de la Musique). This success at one of the world's most prestigious competitions placed Philippe Giusiano among the top pianists and led to performances in some of the greatest concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Verona Theater, La Scala in Milan, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Salle Gaveau in Paris, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.

During the "200th anniversary of the birth of Frederic Chopin" jubilee, the artist was enthusiastically received in France, Spain, the Middle East, Japan, Poland, and Scandinavia, where he presented a program featuring Chopin’s complete works for piano and orchestra.
Philippe Giusiano's recordings, primarily featuring the works of Frederic Chopin and Sergei Rachmaninov, have received widespread critical acclaim. His album recorded in 2017 for the Frederic Chopin Institute in Warsaw includes early works by Chopin. His latest release features the Piano Concerto Op. 2 by Ignacy Feliks Dobrzyński with Howard Shelly and Sinfonia Varsovia.
In addition to his artistic career, the pianist regularly gives masterclasses in Poland and Japan. From 2008 to 2020, he was a visiting professor at Heisei Music College in Kumamoto, Japan. He has also served as a jury member for major piano competitions, including the Second International Frederic Chopin Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Beijing in October 2019 and the Eighteenth International Frederic Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in October 2021.
In 2012, Philippe Giusiano was awarded the Medal of the City of Marseille for his contributions to the cultural life of his hometown, and in 2023, he was honored with the title of Ambassador of Polish Culture by Poland for promoting Polish music and culture worldwide.
