Irina Chukovskaya jest znaną rosyjską pianistką. Jest rozpoznawana jako wybitny wykonawca muzyki romantycznej, jak i muzyki współczesnej. Jest laureatką X Międzynarodowego Konkursu Pianistycznego im. F. Chopina w Warszawie (jako Irina Petrova). W 2014 roku Irina otrzymała Grand Prix na II International Master Competition for Music Teachers (Warszawa, Polska).

Pani Chukovskaya jest profesorem na wydziale fortepianu w Gnesins Rosyjskiej Akademii Muzycznej.

Występuje grając recitale oraz wspólnie z orkiestrami w Europie, Stanach Zjednoczonych, Kanadzie i Azji. Jej repertuar obejmuje czterdzieści koncertów z orkiestrą. W Konserwatorium Moskiewskim jej profesorami byli Vera Gornostajewej, Stanisław Neuhaus i Dmitriy Bashkirov.

Od kwietnia 2019 r. Irina Chukovskaya-Petrova wykłada na Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts (Japonia) jako profesor wizytujący.

Jej dorobek fonograficzny obejmuje m.in. albumy z utworami Chopina, Schuberta i Szostakowicza, wydane przez wytwórnie Melodiya i DUX.

Dodatkowo, w listopadzie 2024 roku Irina Chukovskaya poprowadziła kurs mistrzowski w Yokohamie, organizowany przez Japan Young Pianists Competition.

 

Irina Chukovskaya is a renowned Russian pianist, recognized as an outstanding performer of both Romantic and contemporary music. She is a laureate of the 10th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (under the name Irina Petrova). In 2014, Irina received the Grand Prix at the II International Master Competition for Music Teachers (Warsaw, Poland).

Ms. Chukovskaya is a professor at the Department of Piano at the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music.

She performs recitals and collaborates with orchestras across Europe, the United States, Canada, and Asia. Her repertoire includes forty concertos with orchestra. At the Moscow Conservatory, her professors included Vera Gornostayeva, Stanislav Neuhaus, and Dmitriy Bashkirov.

Since April 2019, Irina Chukovskaya-Petrova has been a visiting professor at the Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts in Japan.

Her discography includes albums featuring works by Chopin, Schubert, and Shostakovich, released by the Melodiya and DUX labels.

Additionally, in November 2024, Irina Chukovskaya led a masterclass in Yokohama, organized by the Japan Young Pianists Competition.
